Andrea Routley

Andrea Routley’s short fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in magazines such as The Malahat Review, Room and The Fiddlehead Review. Her short fiction collection, Jane and the Whales (Caitlin Press), was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Debut Fiction. She is the editor of Walk Myself Home: An Anthology to End Violence Against Women (Caitlin Press), and the founding editor of Plenitude, Canada’s queer literary magazine. She’s had the pleasure of viewing the world of publishing from many angles, as an author, festival reader, event coordinator, editor, and marketing and promotions coordinator for an independent press. A huge fan of Alice Munro, Andrea discovers new ways to improve her own writing with every Munro story she reads.
